MY NICK NAMES..I WONDER WHAT SHOULD I CHOOSE

i have so many many nicknames given to me by my friends, classmates, relatives, and by my parents..actually, they’re all nice…hehe. ( i wish someone would call me YANKUMI..)

  • KATKAT/KAT - my siblings call me in this name, and so were my old friends and classmates.. of course, my name is katrina, that’s why it’s easy to come up with nickname like KATKAT.
  • DADA - haha! this one, i don’t know where my parents got it. but my mom and dad keeps calling me "dada" or "da".. my uncles and aunties too, and also my cousins call me by this nickname.
  • SACAY - my surname…and only my highschool classmates call me by this nickname.
  • SACS - sounds weird? but my highschool friends/peers at ERJHS call this to me.
  • KIKAY - well, my classmates in PNU (trese) had given this to me when we were on our second year..it’s because of my dress and accesories..that’s why when i hear the song KIKAY, i just laugh..(is that really me?)
  • SACHIE/ SACHIE PIE - it all started when my professor called me "sacky", which is just an honest mistake. then after class, my classmates (trese again) kept calling me "sacky"…then the next day, my classmate Cessie said my name should be "sachie pie"..after that, all of them called me Sachie pie..hehe..
  • KATCH - hahahaha! this nickname is courtesy of Edz.. it’s a trend for him to add "ch" to a name..so i call him "etch"..
  • ATTIC KAT - that was supposed to be "ate kat".. but the kids in cavite where i usually stay started to call me by Attic Cat..they know the korean drama…haha!
  • KATRINA - people who have just met me, usually calls me this way.. but i’m not used to it..
  • MAM KAT - from my students in CHS..hehe..

·        FIONAH ABANILLA – she’s my college bestfriend and the person who witnessed how foolish and bad I am. Haha! Just kidding. We exchange some advice and we rarely hurt each other’s feelings. We’ve shared a lot of secrets & I trust her a lot.

·        CARMELA ADALLA – my little sister ( I hope!) and my partner in crime.haha! She’s also my text buddy. I love this girl. I’m just glad coz we never failed to keep in touch with each other.

·        JULIE ANN – my college buddy too. I thought she’s timid and silent when we first met , but later on, she showed her true self. And she’s very evil.haha! just kidding… No. Actually, I’m so thankful that she became one of my friends. She’s thoughtful and a kind of friend who would never turn her back from you. *sniff*

·        JOIE ANN – the cousin of Julie and my bestfriend too. She’s more mature when it comes to giving advice. She’s like a sister to me coz she’s always there to support me. Jae is also thoughtful. (I always have a present or a gift from her, and she’s the first among my friends to greet me on my birthday)… I awe her a lot. I miss her so much.

·        LEA ANN – is “ann” a common name in my friends?hehe.. this girl is my bestfriend too. (I have a lot of bestfriends, have you noticed??). Lea is  simple yet cheerful. She’s the only person who laughs at my corny jokes. When

became a hit, I called her San Cai (and I’m Vanness Wu). We exchange letters regularly. One of the things I love about Lea is that she always smile.

          

·        EYAN ANGEL – I told you, “ann” is a common name among my friends. His real name is Iy-ann..haha! jokes! Well, seriously, he’s my only guy friend. I met him in our club, Tanglaw. What I like about him is that he brought me closer God. He’s also good in giving advice. But most of the time, he’s boastful about his looks! Hehe..he is a kind of friend who won’t let you down. (rexona?!)

          

·        JAZEL – my text buddy & I cherish her a lot. Even if we don’t see each other that much, our bonding is always there. She is a cheerful person and she listens to all my stories. she’s also my secret keeper. We have shared a lots of secret.hehe.

         

·        JEFF UTANES -  jumong????hehe. I consider him as one of my cherished friends although we’ve just met recently. He is such a nice guy & a good listener. We usually exchange quotations and jokes through celfone. And his jokes never failed to make me laugh. I learned a lot from him regarding the dubbing industry.

Meteor Garden being repeated

i just came from a friend’s house today and luckily, i was able to watch it.i think being a Meteor Garden fanatic has not left my senses yet.

im still excited for the next episode!imagine that?i’ve just watched it a few years ago..i guess that was year 2003.actually, i wanted to hear the new dubber of San Cai..it’s Candice Arellano (the famous voice behind Nicole of All About Eve and Luffy d’ Monkey of One Piece)..she sounds good.her voice fits Barbie Hsu’s character in the said series..

F4 is still good looking, as usual..im still mesmerized when i saw them.haha!that’s weird…i thought i have gotten over them..

i still believe that Meteor Garden is better than Hana Yori Dango, although the japanese casts are equally handsome..im sorry shun oguri, matsuda shouta and matsumoto jun if i have said these things.

JUMONG fever..

im a TV addict, and i always watch asian dramas.name it, i probably know it.hehe..

recently, im following the series of JUMONG.i rarely watch action or korean history shows coz im more fond of romantic comedies like Full House and My Name is Kim Sam Soon.but this is a different thing!

it all started with my father.he always tells us the whole story of Jumong which was told to him by his office mate.everyday, he would tell the last episode of Jumong.. "jumong will suffer the same problems as his father… so seo noh will give way and leave with her sons.."… i don’t know if i would be glad or irritated..he kept saying the same things everyday.

then, i was so curious why my father is watching it, so i watched with him everynight..i have to be on track with the story so i can relate with him…

good thing, jumong’s dubber is my text buddy..haha!i ask him regularly if they had finished dubbing the show..(thanks Jeff, for all the info)

the next thing i knew is that, im already a fan of Jumong.i just noticed that Song il-gook is so handsome.whew!but, tht’s not the reason why im watching, it’s the story. (be convinced!)

i like the theme..having your aim in life, fighting for what’s right, standing for your principles, and always being on the good side.in filipino, we call it DAKILANG LAYUNIN..

i don’t know what’s my DAKILANG LAYUNIN yet..hehe..

i wonder what happens next..

julie and me…our one day adventure

yesterday, i washed clothes,and i feel bored after.

then julie texted me and told me to visit her at PNU while having her review.so i went there..

actually, we haven’t seen each other for many months so i was really surprised to see her new look.hehe..we met beside odyssey coz that’s the only place i know in SM (except tokyo kids)..

we did a lot of things. we have our window shopping, net surfing and taking a picture of ourselves.it’s fun.i wish we could do that regularly.but we are busy now.hehe..

when things go wrong..

2631791042 well, i just feel like sharing my "oh so dramatic life"..

im katrina, and i always act strong and happy beyond my problems..you may see me cracking a joke or giving pieces of advice to many people, but actually, i don’t have so much to give.

when i feel bad, i don’t speak or i just get my celfone and play snakes.haha!…sometimes, i text my friends…and i would talk and talk about non sense things.

i have so much respect for my parents and i love my family.the worst thing that happened to me is when i haven’t graduated. (don’t ask me why)..i thought of so many things, i wanted to go away.run away from my problems.even commiting a suicide came up to my mind (oops!but did not do that!)..i even told my friends that i can not take all the problems anymore.

but God opened my mind..and thanks to my dear friends coz they encouraged me to move on and face my fears.so, right now, my parents still love me as who i am.this is just a proof that there is a black sheep in every family.haha! (i guess that’s me)

problems do come,still…but i know i have to be strong..

My Dream..while awake

when i was a child,i only dream of becoming a news anchor like the news reporters i see on tv.

later on,my dream is to become an actress..i always play with my younger sister. we portray some characters.its kinda weird but at the end of the day, im very satisfied with what we have done.

i have so many many many dreams as i grow up..and now, i feel like enumerating them here..

(no laughing please!or else,i’ll shoot u)

  • FASHION DESIGNER

-i love drawing and sketching anime girls..they have weird kinds of dresses though.but im proud that my drawings are improving. actually, this love started when i was a child. i dress up my barbie dolls, i sew some dresses of different styles for them.my father doesn’t want me to take up a course related to it.he asked me,"is it an indemand job later?"…so,that’s it…it would be just a dream..huhu..

  • JAPAN   

-isn’t it obvious?i really dream of going to Japan..maybe, its because i like their fashion style, their culture, the GUYZ, their music…and all.i hope i could go there.

  • AKANISHI JIN / KAMENASHI KAZUYA/JUNNOSUKE TAGUCHI/ MATSUDA SHOUTA/SHUN OGURI/ JUN MATSUMOTO/ KIM KI BUM/ KEN’ICHI MATSUYAMA/ VIC ZHOU/ HIROKI AIBA

 

-the dream i hope would really come true.hehe..i wish one of them could be my boyfriend.haha!or someone who looks like them.that would be interesting!

  • WRITER

-its just that i keep on writing and writing stories until my hand gets hurt.and i want people to read them.one day, i know, my masterpieces would be seen by everbody.

*****as of now,those were my dream…maybe sooner or later, one or all of them might come true.right?

full house..full of love

this is my favorite korean drama, and until now im still craving for it.i like it not only because of the good looking casts like bi rain and song hye kyo, but because of the story.

it may seem like a fairytale story…a girl who’s living a simple life  becomes the wife of a famous celebrity..a cliche as it may be, i still love it. (obvious?)

i have many favorite and unforfattable lines there.like:

  • When you want to protect someone, it means you like that person, right? You protect Kang Hye-won, I’m going to protect you. I think I like you… (ji eun to young jae)
  • My heart belongs to me but I don’t understand my own heart. I really don’t like Lee Young-jae. I hate him. He always calls me poultry, chicken and rice cooker. He works me like a slave only to yell at me later. And he only likes someone else. He always makes me wait. I really dislike him. I really do. But he makes me so happy. And he breaks my heart too. I’m really weird, aren’t I? (ji eun to young jae)
  • It’s fun to see you get mad. I want to tease you again and again. When I’m with you, you make me feel good. (young jae to ji eun)
  • I’m here today to tell you about a woman I love. I’m in love with someone right now. I really love her. She’s someone who can find joy and hope in little things. Being with her brings me joy. She’s the first person to teach me what happiness is. Because I really love her, in order to protect her, I’m about to get a divorce. I’m sure you’re curious but I can’t reveal who she is now. i also love the part where young jae would always give ji eun an ice cream whenever she feels bad or whenever she’s crying.from then on, i started to eat ice cream when i feel bad.hehe.

a guy should not make a girl cry, right?but i hate young jae for making han ji eun cry! if a guy really loves a girl, he should not do things that would hurt her.

i also learned to give encouragement to my friends by saying "aza aza fighting"…han ji eun really affected my actions a lot.

i also love the soundtracks of this korean drama…when i listen to i think i by byul, i feel like im faling in love again.whoah!

Full House is definitely a feel good movie. This would make you fall in love. If there is one series that I would want to see over and over, this would be it. This series have it all - laughter, romance and drama. I can’t seem to have enough it. Some may not like it because of too much redundacy in their fights but for me, every scene is entertaining. I get to love Korean series more because of this.
